Auto-Apply Service Cost: What Will You Actually Pay in 2026?
Auto-apply service cost compared for US, UK and Canadian job seekers: prices, billing, what each plan includes, cost per application and what to check first.

Auto-apply service cost runs from free (with no auto-applies) to a monthly or multi-month fee for a set number of applications. Jobzhub's paid plans are $19.99 a month for 100 auto-applies or $49.99 once for 300 over 3 months. Compare tools on price per application, billing terms and how much control you keep.
What does auto-apply service cost depend on?
Before you look at any price, it helps to know what you're paying for. Most auto-apply tools charge for some mix of four things:
- Application volume. A cap per month, per billing period or per plan. This is the single biggest driver of auto-apply pricing.
- Tailoring. Whether each application gets a resume and cover letter adjusted to the job description, or the same file goes everywhere.
- Control. Whether you can review each application before it's sent, set job titles and locations, and pause the tool.
- Billing model. A monthly subscription, a quarterly plan, a one-time pass, or a cheap trial that rolls into a full subscription.
Two tools with the same headline price can be very different deals once you look at those four lines. That's why the comparison table below has a "billing" column and a "what you get" column next to the price.
If you're new to the idea, our guide on how to auto-apply for jobs explains how these tools work and where they help.
How do auto-apply job services compare on price?
Here's how common auto-apply tools compare. Most entry-level auto-apply plans run about $20 to $50 a month. Competitor prices below were checked on each company's own pricing page or help center on 16 or 18 Oct 2026. Prices change often, so check the source link before you buy.

All prices are in US dollars. JobCopilot also offers auto-apply and advertises a per-day starting price, but its plan totals only appear after sign-up, so it isn't in the table.
Teal, Jobscan, Huntr and Final Round AI come up in the same searches, but they're related tools (trackers, resume scanners and interview help), not auto-apply services. For reference, Jobscan is $49.95 a month, or $89.95 for 3 months with a 7-day free trial on that plan (Jobscan plans, checked 18 Oct 2026). Final Round AI is $150 a month on monthly billing, $83.33 a month billed quarterly, or $25 a month billed yearly (Final Round AI subscription, checked 18 Oct 2026). Interview tools can run up to $150 a month, so add them to your budget only if you'll use them. Every Jobzhub plan has a 14-day money-back window, explained on the refund policy.
Can you auto-apply to jobs for free?
Partly. Many tools offer a free tier, but free tiers usually limit or leave out the auto-apply part itself. On Jobzhub, SCOUT is free forever and includes unlimited job search, one general resume from the AI resume builder, the Resume Roast, saved jobs and job alerts. It has 0 auto-applies, so you send applications yourself.
That's still useful. You can build your resume, test it, and get a feel for which roles fit before you spend money. Some people never need more than that. Others upgrade once they find they're spending hours a week filling in the same forms.
If a tool promises unlimited free auto-applies, read the fine print. Somebody pays for the servers and the AI behind every application, so there's usually a cap, an upsell or a trial charge somewhere.
How do you work out the real cost per application?
The cleanest way to compare auto-apply pricing is to divide the price by the number of applications you actually get.
- RANGER: $19.99 for 100 auto-applies works out to about 20 cents per application. If you need more in a month, a top-up is $10 per 100.
- GOD MODE: $49.99 for 300 auto-applies over 3 months works out to about 17 cents per application, with no top-ups available.
Do the same math for any tool you're considering. Watch for these traps:
- "Unlimited" plans with fair-use limits. Read the terms to find the real cap.
- Low-cost trials. A small first charge that turns into a full monthly price after a few days is common in job-search software. Note the date it renews.
- Per-application add-ons. Cover letters or tailoring sometimes cost extra.
A lower cost per application is worth it when the applications are good. Fifty well-matched, tailored applications usually beat five hundred generic ones.
Is a monthly plan or a multi-month pass cheaper?
It depends on how long you expect to search and how hard you want to push.
A monthly plan suits you if you want to test a tool, or you expect to land something within a few weeks. With RANGER you pay $19.99 a month and can cancel anytime; canceling takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
A multi-month pass suits a longer search. GOD MODE is one payment of $49.99 that covers 3 months and doesn't auto-renew, so there's no surprise charge in month four. Three months of RANGER would cost $59.97 for 300 auto-applies, so the pass is cheaper if you'll use the volume.
Whatever tool you pick, set a calendar reminder for the renewal date on day one.
Are auto-apply services worth the cost for US, UK and Canadian job seekers?
They can be, if three things are true:
- Your resume is already solid. Auto-apply multiplies whatever you send. A weak resume sent 100 times is still weak. Run a free Resume Roast first and fix the top findings.
- You're targeting roles you qualify for. Clear job titles and locations keep the tool from spraying applications at mismatched jobs.
- You keep some control. Jobzhub auto-applies for you, with optional review before each send. Turn review on while you're getting started, then relax it once you trust the matches.
A few market notes:
- US job seekers usually see prices in US dollars, so there's no conversion to think about.
- UK and Canadian job seekers should check whether a tool bills in US dollars. Your bank may add a foreign-exchange fee, and the final amount will move with the exchange rate. UK readers will also want a CV in local format; see our ATS CV checker UK guide.
- Taxes can be added at checkout depending on where you live. On Jobzhub, you see the total before you pay.
What should you check before paying for an auto-apply tool?
Use this quick checklist before you enter card details:
- Price and billing. Is it monthly, quarterly or one-time? Does it auto-renew?
- Application cap. How many applications do you get, and can you buy more?
- Tailoring. Does each job get its own resume and cover letter?
- Review option. Can you approve each application before it goes out?
- Tracking. Is there an application tracker so you can follow up?
- Refund policy. Is there a money-back window, and how do you claim it?
- Account safety. Some job sites restrict third-party automation. Read their rules before you connect any account.
- Human help. Know what you're buying. Jobzhub is fully automated and has no human services.
If a pricing page won't answer these questions clearly, that tells you something too.
How much should you budget for an auto-apply job search?
Start at zero. A free plan lets you search jobs, build a resume, run the Resume Roast and set alerts without paying anything. On Jobzhub that's SCOUT, which has no auto-applies but costs nothing.
Move to a paid plan once your resume scores well and you know which roles you're after. For many people, one month of a mid-priced plan is enough to see whether the tool sends good applications. If you're settling in for a longer search, a multi-month pass with no auto-renew keeps the total predictable.
Then spend your time on what software can't do: following up, networking and preparing for interviews. Our guide on how to follow up after applying has scripts you can use.
